"JEM OF THE NORTH"

Hi everyone! My name’s Cristel Jem P. Parada, age 16 by this 4th of November. I’m a bit petite, have small eyes and a long black hair. By the way, I just want to give you a quick view about the origin of my name. It was actually derived from my parents’ initials ~ Cristina and James. Together with my parents and two siblings, we lived in a city where it is famous for its well-preserved Spanish colonial town known as Vigan City in the Philippines.

Currently, I am a junior high school student. I usually do my best to excel in most fields that I am engaged with and inspire others as well. Moreover, I enjoy studying, which in fact History and biotechnology are two of my favorite subject areas. When in College, I wanted to study in well-known universities and get focused in any of these subjects that I love. I hoped to become a well-known professional in History and/or Biotechnology in the future.

I considered myself to be a responsible and hardworking student. Furthermore, as a gregarious person, I have a large number of friends since I enjoyed interacting with others and learning about new people. My time at school is very much appreciated since it is a pleasure to study, and the students are extremely pleasant and willing to assist. I can't help but want to return because of the vibe. Receiving and completing difficult projects give me a self-fulfillment as well. As a highly-eager learner, I believe this is one of my strongest qualities I have.

My friends describe me as a funny, intriguing person with a great sense of humor. When I meet new people who are excited to see me, I immediately feel at ease with them. Friendship is, in my opinion, one of the most important virtues in human life. We exchange fresh ideas, learn new things about each other, and make new experiences. I value friendship and the people in my life.

It gives me a lot of enthusiasm and excitement to meet new people who encourage and value all of my efforts to grow and enhance my talents not only in the courses but also in my interests. Many of my current acquaintances I met were on the street while engaging in my hobby. I adore photography, which gives me more enjoyment in doing I love and has become even more pleasant.

The goal I'm working right now is to make the world a better place to live by starting with myself. Just like others, I also have failures in my life, but that's exactly what has shaped me into the person I am now: appreciative, loving, and eager to study hard in the hope of becoming a successful person with a great quality of life in the future. I suppose it is becoming more apparent day by day, and I am taking on a greater sense of responsibility for what I do and where I go. With what I already have, I know I'm on the right track, and I'll do everything I can to encourage others to live their lives the way they want to.
